Future Expansion Plans

The Aura Farm Foundation, Inc. (TAFFI) is expanding its mission to provide affordable, intentional housing for families and young professionals through a dual model: tiny home communities and strategically managed rental properties. Our goal is to create safe, stable environments where residents can focus on career growth, financial stability, and overall well-being, while fostering community engagement and upward mobility.

 

 

TAFFI initiatives:
 

• Tiny Communities – Develop a flagship tiny home community near Millersville PA, designed to provide safe, intentional, and sustainable rental housing for moderate-income families and young professionals. These homes would be rental-only, providing residents with stable, affordable housing combined with wellness programs, financial education, and pathways for upward mobility.

• Transitional Housing - Manage strategically located transitional housing for working adults and families in Baltimore City and County. These below-market rental properties provide stability and support; eligible residents may have the opportunity to purchase individual units, reducing long-term housing costs and enabling financial planning and homeownership. Transitional housing bridges the gap for those earning too much for government assistance but struggling to afford housing in today’s market.

• Wellness Programs – Provide access to wellness resources, and community-based programs that support mental, emotional, and physical health.

• Future Expansion – Nationally scale a network of sustainable, community-centered tiny home developments designed to promote upward mobility, financial skill building and long-term success. These communities will bring intentional, affordable housing to urban centers, university towns, suburban neighborhoods, and rural communities. Each new community will be strategically designed to serve the median-income residents in that region, recognizing that income thresholds vary by location.​​

• Identifying communities with high housing need, where moderate-income residents are at risk of displacement

• Tailoring housing solutions to local economic realities, ensuring affordability while maintaining program sustainability

• Building supportive, wellness-focused communities that provide residents with the tools and resources to achieve long-term financial stability and upward mobility
